About the Solutions Site

The site is designed and maintained by Bela Selendy, President of Selendy Communications, Täby, Sweden.

Bela Selendy graduated from the University of Chicago in 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. He has consulted on a wide variety of computer development projects over the years, and lately has worked with graphic design, data systems development, and project coordination here in Sweden.

In 1998 he started Selendy Communications, with the design and maintenance of the HORIZON Solutions Site as its main focus. Beyond his 20 years of computer experience, he has been involved in a number of film and video productions, as editor, assistant director, and producer/director of several independent productions, including an award-winning short documentary video on stoneware pottery production.

In designing the Solutions Site, his main intention has been to create an entertaining, highly interactive site that makes the vital information presented herein as readily accessible as possible and allows many opportunities for user feedback and direct user involvement. The site is graphically sparse, but not vacant, to achieve an inviting, user-friendly interface that is bandwidth efficient. A text-only version runs parallel to the main site to facilitate information access for users with slower Internet connections, particularly those users in developing countries where Internet access can still be sparse or prohibitively expensive.

Internet site development is an ongoing, evolutionary process. Your comments and suggestions on how to improve the Solutions Site are strongly encouraged. Please use the Feedback form to contact Selendy Communications with your ideas, or mail the site administrator directly.
