Bernardo Peredo
Mr. Bernardo Peredo is concentrating on designing and preparing posters promoting wildlife protection in his country that will be distributed nationally with backing from CIDA and HORIZON. He is the director of the Bolivian environmental NGO TAMANDUA which supports conservation at the local level. He has constructed a web page for the organization and is a professional wildlife photographer. Most recently he has served as a research assistant with a Canadian agency focusing on natural resource protection in Bolivia. A Bolivian national, Mr. Peredo studied natural resources management and planning for a degree in Business Administration from Bolivian Catholic University. He was selected to participate in an October 1999 Smithsonian Institution course to train leaders in biodiversity assessment and communication. Mr. Peredo can be reached here:
