A Hawkfish, perfectly camouflaged among the branches of a gorgonian. They live in deeper water where the red is not visible and the camouflage works even better because fish and background have the same dull brownish color (Red Sea).

The near perfect camouflage: a Frogfish has aligned itself with a coral in Hawaii. The frogfish has a rod on its nose with a lure attached which it can dangle in front of its mouth. When a fish wants to eat the lure, the frogfish jumps forward with its pectoral fins, which have transformed into legs at incredible speed, and swallows the fish (Hawaii).

Being one of the highest prized and easiest to catch reef creatures, crayfish are disappearing fast from reefs all over the world. This picture was taken on Tubbahata Reef in the Phillipines, a national park where no fishing is allowed.
